Recently, the General Office of the Ministry of Education released the Notice on Issuing the List of National and Provincial First-class Undergraduate Major Construction Sites (Jiaogaotinghan [2021] No.7), and among the national first-class ones is our Pharmaceutical Science major. This achievement, as an important embodiment of SPS’s emphasis on “regarding undergraduate education as core” and implementation of the “four essences of higher education”, is a recognition to our work on undergraduate education. We will continue to seize the opportunity presented by MOE’s plans to construct ten thousand national and provincial first-class undergraduate majors, and promote the construction of relevant majors in the School according to Implementation Opinions of Jilin University on the Construction of First-class Undergraduate Majors. In doing so, we can continue to improve the quality of our undergraduate majors, and endeavor to form a nurturing system for high-level talents.
