In order to promote exchanges among outstanding undergraduates in pharmaceutical disciplines, deepen young students’ understanding of frontier achievements of the discipline, and attract and select outstanding undergraduates to pursue master’s degree in our school, we held a summer camp on July 6, 2021. 119 campers from 58 universities, including Jilin University, China Pharmaceutical University, Shenyang Pharmaceutical University, China Medical University, Anhui Medical University and Nanchang University, participated in the online summer camp.

First of all, Professor Ma Jie, dean of our school, delivered a welcome speech. He welcomed students from all over the country, and gave a detailed introduction to the campers about the development of the school and postgraduate education, etc. He hoped that all campers would grasp the opportunity and communicate extensively with each other, and looked forward to the successful enrollment of the campers in 2021. Then, Professor Wang Yi, deputy dean of our school, introduced the development history, discipline direction, faculty, scientific research and enrollment information of the school. Teacher Liu Jinping, Teacher Xiang Jinbao, Teacher Liang Chongyang and Teacher Li Xiangjun gave academic lectures. In the afternoon, campers presented their personal abilities through PPT, and instructors conducted extensive communication with campers.

The success of this event deepened the comprehensive understanding of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences among all students. The thematic academic lectures given by our faculty allowed campers to experience the sound academic research foundation and strong academic innovation atmosphere of our school, while the academic style display of campers allowed them to gain self-confidence and set a clear direction of their efforts.
