In order to fulfill the fundamental task of cultivating virtues and fostering talents, effectively strengthen quality monitoring of all teaching aspects, improve class efficiency and ensure the quality of talent cultivation in the School, Dean Ma Jie, Party Secretary Qu Yuanli, Deputy Dean Wang Yi and Guan Qingxiang walked into classrooms on September 8 and 10 to check teachers’ attendance, students’ attendance, attitude, performance and the operation of teaching equipment and had classes together with students. In the classroom, leaders of the School paid close attention to teachers’ lectures and took detailed records, made comments on the teachers’ class design and result and gave suggestions on the teachers’ lecture contents, methods and teacher-student interaction. The leaders of the School also joined the lab classes to check students’ attendance and performance and safety of experiments.

The School would mark the new semester as the beginning of a new journey, devote more support to teaching and continuously strengthen all aspects of teaching and show responsibility and care with actions, to fulfill the fundamental task of cultivating virtues and fostering talents.
