On December 4th, the Election and the 2022 Academic Meeting of Pharmaceutical Chemistry Committee of Jilin Pharmaceutical Association was successfully held online.

According to the constitution of Jilin Pharmaceutical Association, Yu Yaxin and other 64 members were elected into the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Committee, while Xiang Jinbao, professor of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of JLU and Director of the Center for Combinatorial Chemistry and Drug Discovery, was elected as the Chairman.

Prof. Xiang Jinbao is an excellent young teacher, who has been working in the field of new drug synthesis technology and new drug creation for years. His first-author paper has been published in Nature; he led an original explorative program under the National Natural Science Foundation of China; he has been awarded National Young Top-notch Talents. His election as the Chairman is an acknowledgement of the School’s pharmaceutical chemistry discipline, boosting further development. The School will fully support the work of the Committee, contribute to Jilin's scientific and technological innovation and the development of China's pharmaceutical industry.
