In order to effectively improve the quantity and quality of graduate students, in accordance with the requirements of the Implementation Plan of Jilin University for Strengthening Postgraduate Enrollment Promotion, the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences established a postgraduate enrollment promotion work group, formulated the “Three Provinces and Eight Schools” postgraduate enrollment promotion plan and actively carried out relevant promotion work.

Based on the successful summer camp for outstanding college students in 2021, the School strengthened the connection with feeder institutions to prepare for the subsequent postgraduate enrollment promotion work.

At lunch breaks on September 8 and 9, the School hold postgraduate enrollment (online) event for students from China Pharmaceutical University, Shenyang Pharmaceutical University, Xi’an Jiaotong University, Zhengzhou University, China Medical University, Yanbian University, Soochow University, Jiangnan University, Northeast Agricultural University, Northeast Forestry University, Anhui Medical University, Shaanxi Medical University[1] , Fujian Medical University, Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine and Changchun University of Technology.

Professor Wang Yi, deputy dean of the School, Professor Sui Dayun, director of Pharmacology Experimental Center, Professor Liu Jinping, director of Academic Committee, Associate Professor Liang Chongyang, director of Teaching and Research Office of Modern Biology, and Qin Penghua, secretary of Graduate School made lectures in the event. A total of 384 students attended the online event.

The event was presided by Deputy Dean Wang Yi. He started by introducing the history, features and advantages, platform construction, talent cultivation and enrollment information of the School. He also gave students details on faculty and research interests of each secondary discipline. After that, three teachers, Sui Dayun, Liu Jinping and Liang Chongyang, introduced research interests and research achievements of their own disciplines and research teams to the students.

At the end of the meeting, Deputy Dean Wang Yi and Qin Penghua patiently answered students’ questions related to the enrollment examination, encouraged all students present to prepare fully for the examination and said they looked forward to seeing them in the School next year.

In the future, based on past experience, the School would further increase efforts on promotion and establish a more solid student pool. The School would serve all examinee carefully and spare no effort to attract students with high caliber to apply to School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Jilin University!
